The Musicians at Play Foundation is proud to present Oscar®-winning composer Michael Giacchino conducting the Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra, comprised of 44 Los Angeles based, world-class musicians, in an evening of music and story from the iconic TV series, Lost. Executive producer Carlton Cuse will host this concert to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the show’s premiere.
In addition to the Emmy®-winning score to Lost, composer Michael Giacchino’s credits include some of the most popular and acclaimed film projects in recent history, including Inside Out, Jurassic World, The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, as well as his 2009 score for the Pixar hit Up, which earned him an Oscar®, a Golden Globe®, the BAFTA, the Broadcast Film Critics’ Choice Award, and two GRAMMY® Awards.
The Musicians at Play Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(C3) organization that is dedicated to making live music accessible to all, creating stronger and more connected communities, while celebrating the diversity of cultures, promoting appreciation of the arts and providing communities access to our musical heritage through “live” performing arts presentations and educational events.
